CPA Staff Accountant II

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time CPA Staff Accountant II will assist with the external reporting process, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, and support SEC filings and internal management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, focusing on equity and share-based compensation
• Assist with the preparation of SEC filings and related disclosures, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Support the quarterly earnings release process and contribute to internal management reporting packages

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or public company settings
• Foundational knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP and reporting tools
