CPA Tax Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Tax Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing appropriate tax forms and instruments for filing with federal, state, and local jurisdictions
• Assisting senior staff with compiling and analyzing tax data for tax and financial reporting
• Keeping senior staff informed about tax implications of various transactions

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required
• 3 years of work experience in a tax role of a corporate tax department or 2 years in a public accounting firm required
• CPA certification is preferred
• Experience with ASC 740 tax provisions and sales & use tax compliance is preferred
• Knowledge of federal and multi-state tax laws and regulations is required
