CPA Tax Accounting Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Tax Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the determination and reporting of tax information in financial statements
• Collaborate with finance leadership and external auditors on tax accounting matters
• Oversee tax compliance, planning, and audits while managing the tax team and processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; graduate tax degree (MST/LLM) preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable
• 10-15 years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate settings
• Strong background in ASC 740; familiarity with IFRS is an asset
• At least 5 years of experience managing a tax team
