CPA Tax Compliance Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Compliance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customers and review, deliver, sign, and file business tax returns
• Mentor and train junior tax staff while supporting the team of tax professionals in their daily tasks
• Research and analyze tax laws, produce technical memos, and develop strategies for optimizing the company's tax posture

Required Qualifications

• CPA or Enrolled Agent with 5+ years of experience with S corporations
• Prior experience with signing tax returns
• Experience working with self-employed/small businesses (less than $1M revenue)
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional workstreams
• Familiarity with tax software such as Go Systems, QBO, Gusto, Salesforce, and G Suite
