CPA Tax Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Tax.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage preparation and filing of federal and state income tax returns and related documentation
• Oversee sales, payroll, and real estate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Conduct tax research and analysis on evolving legislation to identify opportunities for savings and risk mitigation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
• 5+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally in corporate and public accounting environments
• Prior experience in a multi-state or multi-entity organization is a plus
• Strong technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, ASC 740, and federal/state tax compliance
