CPA Tax Manager
Job Summary
To support a dedicated tax team, the remote CPA Tax Manager will lead client relationships, prepare and review income tax returns, and provide tax projections and analysis for high-net-worth clients while enjoying a flexible work-life balance without traditional billable hour pressures.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and sign tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and businesses
- Create quarterly estimates and projections while ensuring clear communication with clients regarding tax matters
- Mentor and oversee the work of junior tax staff and respond to tax inquiries and notices
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA and/or EA certification required
- Strong knowledge of tax codes and general accounting principles
- Experience with CCH software, including Axcess and Workflow, is a plus
