Job Summary
To support high-net-worth clients, the full-time remote CPA Tax Planner will develop and implement customized tax strategies, serve as a primary tax advisor, and integrate tax considerations into holistic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement proactive, customized tax strategies for clients, including investment and asset location strategies
- Serve as a primary tax advisor, leading client meetings to explain tax strategies and collaborating with Wealth Advisors
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy while overseeing tax filing timelines
Required Qualifications
- Active CPA license in good standing
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, wealth management, or family office
- Demonstrated expertise in individual, business, and trust taxation
- Strong experience with tax planning beyond basic compliance
- High ethical standards and commitment to fiduciary principles
