CPA Tax Supervisor
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor, the full-time remote position will manage advanced accounting functions related to tax specifications, prepare engagement work papers and returns, and oversee lower-level staff while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare engagement work papers and tax returns for clients across various industries
- Research tax issues and recognize potential problems within engagements
- Prepare tax projections and planning assignments while identifying key client issues
Required qualifications
- 3-4 years of tax experience in public accounting
- Experience preparing engagement work papers and tax returns for Individual, S-Corp, and Partnership clients
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's in Tax preferred
- CPA License preferred
- Knowledge of CCH Axcess or ProSystems is a plus
