CPA Technical Accounting Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical accounting expert, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Research and prepare technical memos for complex transactions and implement relevant accounting standards
• Support M&A transactions and lead cross-functional strategic initiatives to address accounting impacts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
• Active CPA or equivalent qualification
• 10+ years of public accounting and/or related industry experience
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience with public company earnings releases and SEC filings
• Familiarity with SOX-compliant environments and experience with systems like Netsuite and Workiva
