CPA Technical Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to oversee timely financial statement preparation and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on technical accounting issues and developments
• Prepare technical accounting memos and participate in the review of complex transactions
• Update process documentation and develop policies to ensure compliance with accounting standards

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting with CPA license required
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in a technical accounting role, preferably with Big 4 public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404, and SEC reporting standards
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Experience in developing and maintaining effective internal controls
