CPA Technical Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Technical Accounting to support the overall accounting function and provide hands-on support over technical accounting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical accounting research under US GAAP related to various transactions
• Maintain accounting policies and procedures while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
• Support the review of consolidated financial statements and assess the impact of emerging accounting standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business and Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
• 7+ years of relevant work experience, including public accounting and industry experience
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience working with SOX 404 and internal controls over financial reporting
• Experience in regulated business or financial services industries is a plus
