CPA Technical Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to oversee complex accounting matters and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and document complex technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP
• Lead accounting for equity and stock-based compensation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Support preparation of SEC filings and maintain SOX compliance, including internal control documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in Big 4/public accounting and industry
• Hands-on experience in a public company environment
• Advanced accounting research skills with experience in ASC 718, ASC 606, and ASC 842
