CPA Technical Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Driving complex US GAAP research and audit readiness, the remote Technical Accounting Manager will partner cross-functionally to ensure accounting frameworks align with rapid business growth while managing technical accounting memos and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead US GAAP research and draft technical accounting position papers across key areas
• Prepare audit-ready financial statements and collaborate with external auditors for compliance
• Develop and implement corporate accounting policies and provide training on US GAAP topics

Required qualifications

• 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on technical accounting
• Public accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 firms
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 718, and ASC 340-40
• Experience with SEC filers and preparing technical accounting memos
• CPA license is required
