CPA Technical Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Driving technical accounting excellence, the full-time Technical Accounting Manager will establish GAAP policies, support cross-functional teams, and oversee financial reporting processes while working in a hybrid environment based in Bellevue, WA.

Key responsibilities:

• Author technical accounting memos and establish robust accounting policies for critical business transactions
• Serve as the primary accounting subject matter expert, partnering with FP&A, Legal, and leadership to evaluate business scenarios
• Manage the end-to-end financial reporting process, including drafting investor reporting packages and coordinating the annual audit

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; active CPA license required
• 4-6+ years of experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, and audit management, preferably with Big 4 experience
• Deep expertise in US GAAP standards, including ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 718
• Proven track record of building and scaling technical accounting frameworks in a high-growth environment
• Experience with modern financial systems and a proactive approach to evaluating complex business scenarios
