CPA Technical Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time salaried Technical Accounting Manager I, this role will manage complex accounting matters, develop policies, and support external reporting while working remotely with occasional in-office collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

• Independently review contracts and analyze transactions to determine appropriate accounting treatment under US GAAP
• Research technical accounting issues and prepare clear accounting memoranda and policies
• Serve as a technical resource for internal stakeholders, advising on transactions and providing training

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and an active CPA certification
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting or at a publicly traded company
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with complex accounting guidance
• Experience preparing technical accounting memoranda and understanding SEC reporting requirements
• Demonstrated experience using AI to enhance accounting processes
