CPA Technical Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager, this full-time remote position will manage financial statement preparation, oversee quarterly and annual reporting controls, and conduct technical accounting research to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure GAAP-compliant reporting
• Own quarterly and annual financial reporting controls, ensuring their effectiveness and completeness
• Conduct technical accounting research on complex transactions and draft clear documentation to support conclusions

Required qualifications

• Big 4 experience or similar technical accounting advisory background with CPA certification (or equivalent)
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Experience with financial reporting controls and external audits
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to lead collaborative projects in a changing environment
