CPA Vice President of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President (VP) of Accounting who will manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and oversee all accounting functions
• Provide technical accounting guidance on U.S. GAAP standards and collaborate with external auditors
• Prepare and review financial statements while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and lender agreements

Required Qualifications

• CPA required
• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in fintech or financial services
• Big 4 experience strongly preferred
• Experience with CECL or credit-loss modeling required
• Strong GAAP technical foundation
