CPA Vice President of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President (VP) of Accounting who will manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes while overseeing GL accounting, reconciliations, and payroll accounting
• Provide technical accounting guidance on U.S. GAAP standards and collaborate with external auditors
• Manage and develop the accounting team, while enhancing accounting policies and supporting ERP optimization initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred
• CPA required
• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in fintech or financial services
• Experience with CECL or credit-loss modeling required
• Strong GAAP technical foundation and ability to manage accounting teams
