CPA Vice President of Financial Reporting
Job Summary
Leading the financial reporting function, the remote Vice President of Financial Reporting will ensure the integrity, timeliness, and accuracy of financial statements, oversee the accounting close process, and manage finance staff while serving as a key partner to executive leadership and the Board.
Key responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and review financial statements
- Supervise accounting staff, establish performance expectations, and ensure effective internal controls
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and coordinate annual audits and compliance activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA required or actively pursuing CPA
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Experience in nonprofit accounting and audits preferred
