CPC Certified Bill Review Analyst

Job Summary

Maximizing savings for clients, the full-time remote CPC Certified Bill Review Analyst will analyze and process large medical bills, ensuring compliance with coding reviews, medical necessity determinations, and state laws while also identifying trends and delivering AR/AP reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review and organize litigation responses, ensuring bill review accuracy and updating processes as needed
• Appear as an expert witness for litigated cases, hearings, and depositions
• Analyze specialty bill review bills and make payment recommendations based on various guidelines and client instructions

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred
• CPC certification required within two years of assuming the position
• Minimum one to three years of medical bill review/auditing experience or equivalent education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, medical reports, and CPT codes
• Experience in the medical/health care/insurance industry is a plus
