CPC Certified Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Center Coding & Billing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all designated claims accurately and timely while collaborating with physicians and practice administrators
• Review provider documentation, code services, and ensure proper charge capture following coding guidelines
• Address back-end edits, denials, and submit corrected claims and appeals as necessary

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• 3+ years of experience in a medical billing office
• Charge entry experience required
• Preference for experience with athenaHealth's suite of tools
• CPC or CPC-A certification preferred
