CPC Certified Clinical Investigator

Job Summary

To support the SIU team, the full-time CPC Certified Clinical Investigator will analyze patient medical records, perform quality checks, and assist in fraud investigations while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the SIU team to perform quality checks and assist in coding determinations
• Analyze and interpret patient medical records related to fraud, waste, and abuse investigations
• Document findings and summarize results in written reports for claims analysis

Required Qualifications

• CPC certification through AAPC
• Minimum of one year of coding and/or billing experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10
• Strong computer skills for data analysis and documentation
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy standards
