Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder responsible for accurately coding diagnoses, procedures, and other services to ensure accurate medical records and billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately code diagnoses, procedures, and services for medical records and billing
• Collaborate with providers to ensure clear and complete documentation
• Review claim edits and correct errors in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must pass internal coding test; proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Minimum of 1 year of physician/professional coding experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent education and experience
• CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA certification required, or must obtain within 90-day probationary period
