Key Responsibilities

• Utilize computer applications and resources essential for efficient coding
• Review and sequence codes to maximize reimbursement and resolve coding edits and denials
• Identify incomplete documentation and formulate physician queries to ensure accurate coding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an approved, certified medical coding program preferred
• Proficient computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
• Minimum of three years of coding experience or CPC certification required
• Experience with professional coding and claim edits preferred
