CPC Certified Coder II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II, Profee.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize computer applications to complete the coding process efficiently
• Review and sequence codes to maximize reimbursement and address coding denials
• Identify incomplete documentation and formulate physician queries for clarification

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 2 years of coding experience with schooling or a minimum of 3 years experience or CPC certification required
• Graduate of an approved certified coding program preferred
• Proficient computer skills, with MS Excel knowledge preferred
• Eligible for CPC or CPC specialty certification
