CPC Certified Coder II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II to join their Coding Department in a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and sequence medical codes to maximize reimbursement and address bundling issues
• Monitor and resolve coding edits and denials to ensure optimal reimbursement
• Utilize coding guidelines to assign appropriate ICD and CPT codes for accurate billing

Required Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 2 years of coding experience with schooling or 3 years of experience with CPC certification
• Graduate of an approved certified coding program preferred
• Proficient computer skills, with MS Excel knowledge preferred
• Eligible for CPC or CPC specialty certification
