CPC Certified Coding Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Associate to utilize coding skills for invoice reviews and provide expert advice to billing staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and coding reviews to ensure documentation accuracy
• Assign and sequence CPT and ICD-10 codes for services rendered
• Collaborate with billing staff to ensure proper payment of claims

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• CPC certification from AAPC or CCS certification from AHIMA
• Minimum two years of coding experience
• Proficiency in job-related software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Surgical coding experience is a plus
