CPC Certified Coding Associate

Job Summary

To enhance customer adoption of the athenaOne Medical Coding Service, the full-time Senior Coding Associate - Customer Insights will evaluate customer readiness, analyze provider documentation, and implement process improvements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze provider documentation and customer configurations to identify opportunities for improvement in documentation and system usage
• Independently manage multiple complex projects, ensuring effective prioritization and alignment with internal and external stakeholders
• Design and implement solutions that favor automation and continuous process improvement to enhance service efficiency and outcomes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
• CPC and/or CCS certification from AAPC or AHIMA required
• 3+ years of professional experience in Medical Coding
• Experience in auditing medical charts for accuracy and compliance with coding regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
