CPC Certified Coding Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PB Coding Coordinator who will oversee and ensure the accuracy and compliance of medical coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert and provide ongoing coding education and training for clinical providers and coders
• Accurately evaluate and resolve coding edits in assigned work queues within the Epic EMR system
• Perform quality assurance audits and complete special projects to improve coding workflows and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in professional fee coding, including Evaluation & Management services
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist Physician (CCS-P) credential
• Demonstrated knowledge of training and education techniques
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Five years of professional fee coding experience (preferred)
