CPC Certified Coding Coordinator

Job Summary

Supporting medical policy functions, the full-time Medical Policy & Coding Support Coordinator will provide medical coding, system configuration, and operational support while working remotely to ensure compliance and accuracy in health policy documentation and coding analyses.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly Medical Policy production timelines and support virtual Medical Policy Committee operations
• Perform coding analyses and utilization reporting to recommend updates to medical policies and system configurations
• Monitor and triage Medical Policy inquiries while ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required, with certification to be obtained within 12 months of hire
• 4+ years of experience in provider payment, claims, or medical coding, demonstrating knowledge of ICD-10, HCPC, and CPT
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
• Proficient in MS Office and capable of handling administrative tasks effectively
