CPC Certified Coding Coordinator

Job Summary

To enhance coding practices and ensure regulatory compliance, the full-time remote Coding Quality and Educational Coordinator will manage educational initiatives, conduct audits, and provide mentorship on coding-related queries while safeguarding the organization's revenue integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive coding education and training programs for healthcare providers
• Audit clinical documentation and coding practices to ensure adherence to regulations and quality standards
• Monitor training effectiveness and implement continuous improvement strategies for coding staff and providers

Required qualifications

• CPC, CCS-P, CMRS, or AAPC certification required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At least 3 years of experience in medical coding or a related field
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD coding, and the revenue cycle process
• Experience in a Urology or physician practice environment preferred
