Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Medical Coding Denial Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and resolve coding denials based on clinical documentation and coding regulations
• Compose technical denial arguments for reconsideration and appeal
• Maintain performance metrics for production and quality while collaborating with the coding team

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in Physician Coding and Denial Management
• CPC certification from AAPC, maintained throughout employment
• Strong knowledge of Federal & State Coding regulations, CPT, HCPC's, and ICD-10 CM Guidelines
• Good understanding of HIPAA regulations and electronic health record (EHR) systems
