CPC Certified Coding Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing the coding functions for all locations, the full-time remote CPC Certified Coding Manager will manage daily operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate training programs for coding staff to optimize reimbursement and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates educational programs on compliance and accurate coding for staff
• Conducts coding audits and monitors accuracy, reporting noncompliance issues and corrective actions
• Reviews claim denials related to coding and implements corrective action plans to prevent recurrence

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience: Required
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS): Required
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Five years' related experience: Preferred
• One year's leadership experience: Preferred
