CPC Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Reimbursement Specialist III - Post Claim Denials.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as a subject matter expert in specialty coding and assigns appropriate CPT and ICD codes
• Processes charges and reconciles to ensure all charges are captured and communicated effectively
• Researches coding issues and interacts with providers to resolve moderate to high complexity coding concerns

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience required
• CPC or equivalent coding credential required, with maintenance of certification
• Extensive knowledge of coding, medical terminology, anatomy, and payer-specific rules
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office/hospital environment
