CPC Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Production Coding Specialist III - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review documentation for compliance with medical record requirements and code surgical procedures
• Abstract anesthesia times, apply appropriate modifiers, and work on escalated coding cases
• Meet team KPIs and provide reports for management as requested

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 5+ years of complex surgical coding experience, including 4+ years in anesthesia coding
• Current CPC certification required; CANPC is a plus
• Experience with multiple EMRs and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
