CPC Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Reimbursement Specialist III - Post Claim Denials.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as a subject matter expert in specific coding specialties and assigns appropriate CPT and ICD codes
• Performs coding of provider services, ensuring accurate charge information and modifier application
• Communicates with providers regarding complex coding issues and conducts educational sessions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience required
• CPC or equivalent coding credential required
• Maintain coding certification (CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA)
• Extensive knowledge of coding, medical terminology, anatomy, and payer-specific rules
• High School Diploma or GED required
