CPC Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Reimbursement Specialist III - Post Claim Denials.

Key Responsibilities

• Assigns CPT and ICD codes for moderate to high complexity cases and performs coding of provider services
• Researches and analyzes coding and payer specific issues, ensuring timely processing of charges
• Communicates with providers regarding coding issues and provides education on coding rationales

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience required
• CPC or equivalent coding credential required
• Maintain coding certification (CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA)
• Extensive knowledge of coding, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• High School Diploma or GED required
