Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Reimbursement Specialist III in the Revenue Cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assigns CPT and ICD codes for moderate to high complexity cases and verifies charge information
• Performs reconciliation to ensure all charges are captured and communicates with providers regarding coding issues
• Researches and analyzes coding and payer-specific issues while processing charges in a timely manner

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience required
• CPC or equivalent coding credential required; must maintain coding certification
• Extensive knowledge of coding, medical terminology, anatomy, and payer-specific rules
• Ability to apply coding, bundling, and modifiers appropriately
