CPC Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Reimbursement Specialist II in the Revenue Cycle for Physical Medicine & Rehab.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ICD and CPT coding of provider services, ensuring accurate charge information is entered
• Communicate with providers regarding coding issues and provide education as needed
• Process charges into the billing system and ensure all charges are reconciled and captured

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of coding experience required
• CPC or equivalent coding credential required and must be maintained
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Familiarity with payer-specific coding rules and regulatory guidelines
