CPC Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist to join their Revenue Cycle Management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely medical coding in accordance with coding guidelines and payer requirements
• Review clinical documentation to assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
• Conduct regular audits of coded data to ensure quality and identify areas for improvement

Required Qualifications

• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification required; additional certifications are a plus
• 2-3 years of professional coding experience, preferably in Revenue Cycle Management
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
