CPC Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Provider Education Specialist with expertise in Orthopedics & Surgical Specialties, this full-time remote position will provide coding and regulatory education to physicians, residents, and advanced practice providers while collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, create, and update educational materials in various formats including Articulate and PowerPoint
• Conduct educational sessions for healthcare professionals on coding and documentation requirements
• Collaborate with the Education Manager and providers to manage new provider orientation and maintain training schedules

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Minimum of 3+ years of education experience, preferably in provider education
• CPC or CCS certification is required
• CPMA certification is a plus and must be obtained within 1 year of hire
• Ability to effectively present to large audiences
