CPC Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

To support coding and compliance efforts, the full-time remote CPC Certified Coding Specialist III will manage all aspects of coding, provider education, and quality assurance while collaborating with various departments to improve revenue cycle performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee coding processes and ensure compliance with Federal payer documentation guidelines
• Develop and implement coding and billing change procedures, providing training as necessary
• Act as the coding expert for the organization, addressing coding questions and conducting practice improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• CPC certification required; Risk Adjustment Certification preferred
• Minimum of five years of coding experience with demonstrated analytical skills
• Experience with Medicare regulations and understanding of third-party payer issues
• Preferred experience with EPIC systems
• High School Diploma or GED required
