CPC Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

Providing comprehensive coding services for multiple specialties, the full-time remote CPC Certified Coding Specialist will apply CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes while maintaining high accuracy and productivity standards, and supporting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately code surgical procedures and apply diagnosis codes with the highest specificity
• Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels using company algorithms and recognize critical care cases
• Maintain compliance with coding guidelines, quality standards, and participate in ongoing training

Required qualifications

• CPC or equivalent certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience in family medicine or multi-specialty environments
• Advanced knowledge of EMR and billing systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Current coding materials such as CPT and ICD-10-CM references are necessary
