CPC Certified Coding Team Lead

Job Summary

Managing the activities and overall functions of the Coding team, the remote CPC Certified Coding Team Lead will monitor workflow, assist with training and development, and support the coding staff while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor coding workflow and compile status and work-volume reports for management
• Perform training for new coding staff and assist in developing policies and procedures
• Field questions from account representatives and clients while supporting the coding team with issues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CPC Certification is mandatory
• 2+ years of coding/auditing experience
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel
• Knowledge of EMR systems is a plus
