CPC Certified ETM Coder

Job Summary

To support the coding and charge capture process, the part-time hourly CPC Certified ETM Coder will work remotely, reviewing medical documentation, validating coding accuracy, and ensuring compliance with CMS guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review provider documentation to ensure accurate procedural and diagnosis coding
• Process charges within 24-48 hours of clinic completion while maintaining a 95%+ accuracy rate
• Participate in ongoing education and collaborate with management to uphold coding standards and procedures

Required qualifications

• CPC or equivalent certification is required
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior coding experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to organize and work independently in a professional setting
• Sound decision-making skills and high-level verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding updates and changes
