Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Specialist to support accurate and compliant revenue cycle operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and audit complex surgical operative notes to assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and regulatory standards
• Serve as a key resource for resolving complex coding inquiries from clinical and administrative teams

Qualifications and Skills

• Active CPC or CCS certification required
• 3-5 years of hands-on medical coding experience with a focus on surgical procedures
• Strong expertise in cardiology and orthopedic coding
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient coding environments
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
