Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire billing cycle including coding, charge entry, and payment posting
• Ensure accurate coding for orthopedic surgery and other specialties
• Utilize coding software and tools, including Epic and Encoder Pro

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Coding Certification required (CPC or CCS)
• 3 years of coding experience for Medical Coding Specialist I or 5 years for Medical Coding Specialist II
• Must have orthopedic surgery coding experience
• Experience with Epic is required; Encoder Pro experience is preferred
