Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical record reviews and audits for professional fee services
• Utilize NCD/LCD/LCA to determine medical necessity and document findings
• Ensure compliance with relevant coding standards and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) with a minimum of two years of experience
• Experience in ProFee auditing; HCC experience is not applicable
• Behavioral Health experience documented on the resume is mandatory
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding related to professional fee services
• Familiarity with Medicaid policies is a plus
