Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder I.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple coding-related projects and ensure deliverables meet standards within turnaround times
• Stay current on CPT, ICD-10-CM coding guidelines, and relevant coding guidance
• Assign appropriate codes to office visits, procedures, and diagnoses in a production environment

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Profee Coder in an office setting, including risk adjustment coder experience
• 1+ years of experience in Medicare/Medicare Advantage
• CPC certification through AAPC or CCS certification through AHIMA required
• CRC certification must be obtained within one year of hire
• Strong experience in Microsoft or Google suite, particularly in spreadsheets and PowerPoint
