CPC Certified Medical Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder (CPC or CCS-P) to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes for services provided
• Review documentation to determine appropriate codes for medical services and diagnoses
• Maintain compliance with coding guidelines and assist with coding edits and denials

Required Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or CCS-P certification
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience, particularly in Evaluation and Management coding
• Understanding of ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS coding
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
